President-elect Donald Trump has declared a national energy emergency on his first day in office, reversing President Joe Biden’s energy restrictions, electric vehicle mandate, incentives for renewable energy, and natural gas export ban.

This decision is welcomed, as the Biden administration has created a dangerous energy situation that requires immediate action.

Trump’s actions can prevent America from following Europe’s energy and climate policies.

BLUE STATE GOVERNOR’S CLIMATE LAW A PLOT TO ‘GET THE LEFT ALIGNED WITH HER,’ JOURNALIST SAYS

Climate change measures in Europe are already negatively impacting the manufacturing sector. Germany, known for its industry, is expecting a significant decline in production due to climate regulations.

German workers are losing their jobs due to climate regulations, with layoffs in the auto industry attributed to inexpensive Chinese EV imports.

Biden’s climate change policies need to be amended to prevent bolstering Chinese workers at the expense of Americans.

His regulations have led to increases in electricity and transportation costs, contributing to inflation. Higher electricity prices disproportionately affect low-income individuals, small businesses, and farmers.

Most concerning is that these climate regulations impoverish Americans while enriching China without significant global emission reductions. The continuation of Democrat green energy policies will burden the nation with subsidies and high energy costs, with minimal impact on global temperatures by 2100.

Trump’s energy emergency aims to undo the damage caused by Biden.

Final Environmental Protection Agency regulations mandate that 70% of new cars sold in 2032 be electric or plug-in hybrid, or face fines and mandatory credit purchases. Electric vehicles are more expensive than gasoline-powered cars.

Auto companies also face California’s auto regulations, requiring all new vehicles sold in the state to be electric by 2035. Trump is likely to overturn California’s waiver that allows the state to set vehicle emission standards for the rest of the country.

In order to boost electric vehicle sales, auto companies must price them competitively against gasoline-powered vehicles, resulting in higher prices for consumers. This leads to increased transportation costs and contributes to inflation.

Trump can eliminate wind and solar incentives, which reduce electricity production from natural gas, coal, and nuclear power, driving up electricity costs. He can also lift the ban on natural gas exports, benefiting our allies.

Trump’s urgent action is necessary, as Biden’s climate solutions are causing financial hardship for Americans. An emergency is looming, with higher car prices, electricity costs, and potential job losses to China. This is a national energy emergency.
