Turkiye sees massive demonstrations following arrest of Istanbul mayor | Alleged criminal activity

Thousands of people in Turkiye are protesting the arrest of Istanbul’s mayor Ekrem Imamoglu, a key rival to President Erdogan, on corruption and terror charges. The government has denied opposition claims that it’s staging ‘a coup’.
