Undocumented immigrant accused of prostitution at ‘Foot Spa’ business in TN


COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A woman is facing charges following an investigation into prostitution in Cookeville.

The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office reports that a search warrant was executed at 23 W 4th Street on June 18.

One woman was arrested and $500 was seized following the search. During the investigation, investigators used techniques to confirm that illegal commercial sex acts were being offered at the “Foot Space” business, according to PCSO.

The sheriff’s office reports that 46-year-old Zou Liushauang, an undocumented immigrant from China, was arrested and charged with impersonation of a licensed professional and prostitution. Liushauang’s bond was set at $12,500 with a court date of July 23.

“Liushauang was renting a dwelling (house) at 23 W 4th Street in Cookeville, that she was using as the ”Foot Spa” business. However, she had no business license,” PCSO said.
