An alarming incident involving a 6-year-old girl at one of Karina VanOrman’s home showings in South Ogden, Utah, led her to advise against bringing children along to showings.
During a showing for a 1970s-era home, the girl ran through the house excitedly and collided with a closed sliding glass door, resulting in a serious injury that required an airlift to the hospital.
@karinasutahhomes Why I don’t recommend that kids come with parents to look for houses. I learned this the hard way! #lifeflight #traumtizing #realestatestories #utahrealestate #utahrealtor #showinghouses #dangeroussituations ♬ original sound – Karina.VanOrman
Due to the seriousness of the incident, VanOrman now advises against bringing young children to home showings to avoid potential risks and injuries.
