The United Nations warns that the health system in Gaza is facing imminent collapse due to ongoing Israeli attacks.
Out of the 36 hospitals in Gaza, only 16 are operational, and they can only provide limited services.
Since the start of the Israel-Palestine conflict in October 2023, over 650 Israeli attacks on medical facilities have been confirmed by the UN, resulting in the deaths of at least 1,054 health workers.
Israel alleges that Hamas fighters are using hospitals as bases, but has not provided substantial evidence to support these claims.
How can the collapse of Gaza’s health system be prevented?
