Where To Locate the Most Stylish Gamer on the Island for ‘Fortnite’ April Fools’ Day

I will not cover actual April Fools’ jokes today that are just fake, comedic news, but in this case? I’ll make an exception, given that Fortnite’s April Fools’ list of quests actually comes with XP rewards that are valuable for ranking up your battle pass, and one of them does need some explanation, as you would be very lucky to figure it out otherwise.

What I would deem the trickiest quest on the list is that it asks you “Find the Coolest Player on the Island” for 2,000 XP. You may be looking for some sort of ice-based or extra fashionable NPC, but they are not a “player” in the traditional sense, so it’s none of them. Sorry Fishstick.

Rather, you are the coolest player on the island. What does that mean? It’s not just looking at your character in front of you like they always are, you have to “find them” which means hunting down a place that has a mirror in which you can see yourself.

This is actually a bit more difficult than you might imagine, as very few buildings actually have mirrors in them, which are almost all inside bathrooms rather than them being inside some other random room. Try normal houses, above all else. And “seeing yourself” is a very, very blurry version of you, but you will know you’re doing it right if there is a little exclamation point icon above the mirror. You may have to jump and twist your vision a bit to get it to count, but this should work. It took a little while for mine to register, so don’t give up.

As for the rest of the challenges, none are quite that tricky. Touching grass, for instance, just means running around on any grassy surface for a while. Surviving seconds before getting a weapon is self explanatory. Another tricky one? Land over here and over there has you land on opposite sides of the map.

The end result of this is 30K XP from doing 5 quests, and you can get another 16K if you do them all for 2K apiece. Again, none of these are especially difficult, but you will in fact get frustrated trying to find a mirror when you actually need one. Be sure to land by houses for the best chance at locating one.
