Belkin Switch 2 cases

A few weeks ago, I finally got my hands on a Nintendo Switch 2. I’m absolutely enjoying it, but until now, I hadn’t fully utilized one of its key features: the portability.
While I technically could’ve taken the console out with me at any time, my cautious nature held me back from doing so without a protective case. Personally, I believe every Switch should be sold with a case, but of course, Nintendo prefers to sell them separately.
The days of my Nintendo Switch 2 being confined at home are over, thanks to Belkin’s new charging case, which gives me the confidence to travel with my beloved console. I often find third-party accessories to be a gamble, but this one is a definite win.

To start with, the case looks fantastic. Its durable, hardshell exterior is sleek and minimalistic, which I appreciate more than a cluttered design. It’s available in three color options—I opted for sand, but the charcoal and pistachio green versions are pretty appealing as well. The real highlight, however, is what’s inside the case.
Upon opening it, you’ll discover a built-in rechargeable power bank nestled securely in the center. The Switch console fits over it perfectly, ensuring it doesn’t scratch or damage anything when stored. When you need an extra charge, simply thread the included USB-C cord out from under the handheld and start charging—either while playing or while it’s secured in the case. This convenience allows me to spend more time enjoying the console and less time worrying about battery life. Plus, the battery includes a small LCD display that indicates remaining power, preventing any surprises of heading out with a dead power bank.

The little strap that holds the battery is a thoughtful detail.

I can’t wait to fill these card slots with new games.
I spent $10 on ‘Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour’ and got way more than I was expecting
The case also offers ample extra storage, featuring a mesh pocket for cords, accessories, and more. I use mine to store the battery cord, a charging block for the power bank, and my Joy-Con covers for the Switch’s mouse mode. Additionally, there’s a flap that accommodates up to 12 Nintendo Switch game cards. Although I currently have only digital copies, I’m eager to start populating those card slots with new titles soon.

A perfect fit.
Although Belkin’s case isn’t groundbreaking—charging cases have been available before—it is well-constructed, practical, and undoubtedly the best option available as we embark on the Switch 2 era.
