ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A woman was shot and killed during a fight at a DeKalb County parking lot on Wednesday morning, police said.
Officers said the incident happened near an unspecified business in the 1200 block of Columbia Drive in unincorporated Decatur. The woman’s friends took her to the hospital, where she died.
Police were called to investigate at around 1:40 a.m.
The woman, who was in her 20s, has not been identified. The circumstances of the fight are also unknown.
The investigation is ongoing. Police ask anyone with information to send an anonymous tip through the Tip411 app or text “DKPD” and the tip to 847411.
